you're hating on me but I'm literally just in bed listening to harpsichord music. this is who you're hating on
Harper’s disgust at Whitney’s confession is so beautiful and restrained. The moment she’s realizes the lengths people will go to for a droplet of wealth and power stretch beyond literally anything she’s ever done. I think shes already understands that this behavior is to be expected from those born into money. But hearing it coming from someone who likely started from a similar social standing to hers is so jarring. Cus like she’s crazy but she would never do that
Her restraint in this moment is insane though. Something I don’t think season one harp would have been capable of.
It’s just a fun moment honestly considering the fact that harp has spent her entire career being basically labeled a psychopath for the insane shit she pulls for her work. And here she is with this seemingly very serious and stable man standing in front of her casually admitting that he ran a funeral private equity side hustle in his younger years. Crazy.
