We designed this figure for Harmony Kingdom in 2003, and it was sculpted by Jackie Gonzales, renowned for her excellent work with the Walt Disney Classics Collection. Standing 4-1/2" tall, the figure opens to reveal the deed to Toad Hall hidden inside. Harmony kingdom founders Martin and Corinna Perry of Antiquark Inc of the UK, are responsible for creating the box figurines. They are English carvers who sculpt the figurines and then Harmony Kingdom manufacture them from molds. His art is influenced by the ancient art of Japenese netsuke. He made them using marble resin which gives his pieces an ivory like look. The figurines are then hand painted. The company expanded and includes many artists. They are called boxed figurines because they come apart and have a secret compartment to hide small treasured things.
