The remains of Harmony Borax Works, Death Valley. William T. Coleman built the works in 1883-4, which was used to process ore. 40 men worked in the baking heat, producing 3 tonnes of borax a day. The Mesquite Flat Sand Dunes in Death Valley are beautiful to see, but climbing them will sure wear you out quick, haha!
