which skeleton(s) you’re excited about?

whomst knows if i’ll even have time to write an app but atm i am most drawn to the explorer!! although i do say that without having thoroughly read all the skeletons yet

i know they’re overused by now but i haven’t had a chance to play any of the outer banks fcs yet so u can bet they’re all on my list!

last book you’ve read? / book you’re currently reading:

the last book i read was normal people by sally rooney (it destroyed me emotionally, 10/10 recommend) and i’m currently reading the water dancer by ta-nehisi coates!

favorite literary character:

oh my god..... there are too many i love pls don’t do this to me. if i have to give a Proper Literary answer, probably lady macbeth? but if we’re being honest... it’s harry james potter

favorite rp tasks and events:

hey nerds, i’m chester. 23, they/them in the aest timezone. which basically means you can catch me spamming replies when no one’s around and being a heathen in the chat at all hours.

which skeleton(s) you’re excited about?

you know i down right can’t rESIST the chaos beans, so catch me excited to see the wild card, seducer, corrupter!!

favorite fcs to play:

all you cowards better start having more 30+ rps so i can use jon hamm, and joel kinnaman more. besides that eliza scanlen, sam corlett and dane dehaan are also an all time faves

last book you’ve read? / book you’re currently reading:

jesus the way i’ve been on a reading stump recently, but i have been reading sharp objects after falling in love with the hbo series.

favorite literary character:

you know, i hate the basic bitch, stale piece of paper that is richard papen. and yet my god, do i get that guy™️ 

favorite rp tasks and events:

THANK YOU SO SO MUCH FROM THE BOTTOM OF OUR HEARTS TO EVERYONE WHO HAS TAKEN THE TIME TO WRITE AN APP FOR OUR TINY ROLEPLAY! we feel super lucky to have had such a great turnout. when we were first figuring out the details of the group, we were scared at times that people wouldn’t be interested. so, this goes beyond what we imagined and for that we thank you so so much !

with that being said, we really want to take the time to go over the apps with the time and attention they deserve, we ‘re sure you’re blessing us with beautiful and wonderful characters and we definitely don’t wanna rush over. so, please know this will take more than just a few hours. 

the latest time at which we’d be publishing acceptances will be tomorrow, at 12:00pm est. we feel like this is a good approximate time that will allow us to go over everything carefully and take our much needed breaks every now and then. however, if we happen to finish earlier, we will let you know !

we are still expecting two more apps from applicants that reached out to us beforehand: one for the wildcard and one for the corrupter. so that will leave our app count with a total of FOURTY-FOUR (44) APPS.

which skeleton(s) you’re excited about? I’ve applied for the Dream so obviously I’m extremely excited about them. As soon as I read the aesthetics, I felt as if one of the characters I had written but never had the opportunity to play might be a good fit. When I read the rest of the skeleton, I was totally sold! I’m excited to see their connections come to life as well, particularly their close group of friends, The Humorist & The Caregiver. I think the dynamics are very interesting and would be a lot of fun to play out, if given the opportunity.

favorite fcs to play: My absolute favorite would have to be Josefine Frida Pettersen but I’ll admit I’m partial to a whole range of SKAM FCs. I know they’re not totally necessary for RP but I love it when GIFs have source content that offers a wide variety of expressions and look natural and aren’t particularly glamorous. I think SKAM resources are quite good for that. 

last book you’ve read? / book you’re currently reading: I’m currently re-reading The Hilbilly Elegy but I recently read Where the Crawdads Sing and it was wonderful. 

favorite literary character: I think it might be Clarice Starling. I’ve never thought about it before! 

which skeleton(s) you’re excited about?: Well, I was very excited for The Observer! It meshed really well with a character I’ve been forming in my head for a while! I also eyed The Knight, because they were right up my ally.

favorite fcs to play: I don’t usually reuse FCs since they become that character in my mind, but past favorite FCs are Jordan Fisher, Olivia Munn, Chris Evans, Adelaide Kane, Meghan: Duchess of Sussex and Logan Lerman are faves!

last book you’ve read? / book you’re currently reading: I just finished The Invisibile Life of Addie LaRue! It BROKE me and I’m kind of in a book hangover, so I’m slowly making my way through Anxious People and How to Hang a Witch. Other recent reads include The Night Swim and Sadie, which inspired my character and app, as well as The Woman in Cabin 10, Carrie, The Broken Girls, and The Dark Desecent of Elizabeth Frakenstein. All the spooky szn reads!

favorite literary character: This is so hard...  I read a book and I instantly forget what I’ve read... I like Stevie Bell from the Truly Devious Series. Hanna from Gemina and Obsidio. Nina from Six of Crows Duology. ALEXIA FROM THE PARASOL PROTECTORATE SERIES.
