I was born on February 29. There is no February 29 this year but I celebrated my birthday anyway and it was the opportunity to celebrate Alejandro’s birthday again with mine. We were surrounded by our loved ones who are always by our side. We really thank them for that. Wong Kar Wai en su apogeo. Con esa estética visual maravillosa e inconfundible, que transforma cada obra en un poema y cada plano en un cuadro. Han hecho escuela (y también brecha en nuestro imaginario) su expresión visual de los sentimientos, sus ángulos no convencionales, su step-printing y su caleidoscopio de colores sobresaturados. Historia de amor y desamor, nos enseña una pareja atrapada en una relación tóxica, con sus vaivenes y sus altibajos emocionales. El guion es sencillamente perfecto, fluye, sin acrobacias argumentales. Pero lo verdaderamente bueno es que la que nos cuenta no es una historia de amor homosexual, sino una historia de amor Universal, en la que estoy segura que todos y cada uno de nosotros podremos identificarnos. En mi ranking personal no llega a "In the mood for love" o "2046" pero es, sin ninguna duda, una obra maestra que no os podéis perder.
