I was begged to, pleaded to and guilt-tripped but there were a couple other things going on that I did not want my name attached to anymore. I'd already been having my name forged on documents and I bailed. I was trying to stick it out until September which is when I had originally planned to quit anyway because we are moving but my husband told me to just stay home and take some months off.

I am already feeling icky about lack of job. I feel like my sense of selfworth is tied to the paycheck I bring in. I do like spending my own money too. We're not financially hurting without my paycheck but we were trying to save as we are about to go into the unknown once my spouse retires at the end of the year. Also, having to explain a resume gap is awkward. Also also, I'm a bit worried on how I'll be able to obtain my tax information for next year.

in anycase, I quit, immediately went home and did my hair and got dressed and we went to our last military ball. We then woke up early the next morning and dropped the dog off at the boarders and drove to arizona to visit my SiLs nursing graduation (bless your little baby nurse heart). We wanted to visit Sedona but everybody had sick stomachs and were afraid to travel. So really didn't do much outside sit and visit. Had I known that I was going to quit my own nursing job, I'd of boarded the dog an extra day. We did stop at Saguaro National Park but driving by it we found a cool looking aerospace museum that we wanted to go into and I've never visited Tombstone, so that would have been cool too. Also, ikea. I know ikea isnt that special and I don't need anything in it but its fun to visit T_T

Feels like theres still stuff on this end of the country that we want to visit but we are running out of time.
