⋆。˚ Ariana Neptune (Ariel from The Little Mermaid) || 23 || World History Major ⋆。˚
Character information
Ariana "Ari" Neptune is 23 years old and a World History Major. She is the youngest in a family of seven sisters and has spent most of her life feeling like she is fighting to be seen as her own person rather than just another Neptune daughter. Ariana's father is strict, very protective and has a very clear idea of what he thinks Ariana's and her sisters life should look like. Ari though has never been very good at obeying by these rules or staying inside the lines. She has a very curios, adventurous and romantic personality and can sometimes be a bit too trusting for her own good. She has a strong sense of adventure and if someone tells her not to go somewhere, that is usually the first place she'd want to explore.
She is very warm, bubbly, excitable and easy to talk to and loves to hear other people's stories and is fascinated by lives that are completely different from her own, most likely a factor that contributed hugely to her choosing to study world history. Ariana wants to understand people, places, different cultures and all the little pieces of the world that she feels she has been kept away from. However, she can also be somewhat impulsive, stubborn and naive at times, she often follows her heart first and thinks about the consequences later, which means she can be a wonderful friend or a chaotic influence depending on the day.
Plotting - wise, the biggest thing to know about Ariana is that she is desperate for freedom. She sneaks out, goes to parties she shouldn't be at, talks to strangers, collects experiences like treasures and wants to prove that she can make her own choices. She is not trying to hurt her family, but is tired of being protected to the point of feeling trapped. She is very much in her I want more era, which can lead to friendships, mistakes, romance, rebellion, danger, heartbreak and self - discovery.
Full character bio can be found here!
Someone Ariana knows from university, especially a classmate from World History or a related class. They could help each other study or be the person who constntly drags her attention back to assignments etc. when she gets distracted by an odd historical fact or other things. This could be very wholesome, chaotic, competitive or even turn into a deeper friendship such as best friends.
The bad influence
A person who encourages Ari's rebellious side. They invite her to parties, late - night adventures, secret hangouts and places she shouldn't be going to. Ariana thinks they are exciting and free, but whether they are actually good for her or not is upe for debate. This could be platonic, romantic or messy with some angst possibly thrown in.
The voice of reason
Someone who sees Ariana making impulsive decisions and tries to slow her down. They care about her and can be protective of her or just tired of watching her run headfirst into bad idea after bad idea. Ariana probably fins them annoying at first or rejects them as she feels they might be trying to stifle her, just like everyone else, but secretly she may be happy about it and need someone who asks her how she is doing and if she has thought things through?
Secret friend
A friend Ari keeps away from her family, because she knows that her father and/or sisters would not approve of them. They may come from a completely different background and have a reputation connected to trouble. Ariana likes that they feel like part of a world that only belongs to her, away from her family.
Older sibling energy
This is someone who become protective over Ari in a way that is completely different from her family. They don't try to "control" her or expect her to abide by certain rules or expectations, but they look out for her when she is too far in over head.
The crush/Romantic interest
Ariana becomes interested and fascinated bu someone who represents all the things she wants: freedom, confidence, independence and maybe a life completely different from the one she has grown up in. This does not have to be endgame (it could be), it could also just be a crush, mutual pining or unrequited feelings and so on.
The party acquaintance
A person Ariana really only knows from sneaking out, going to parties, clubs and late-night adventures. This person does not know much about her actual life, her family or how sheltered she sometimes feels. There is definetely potential for this to become a deeper friendship once the other person starts to understand there is more to Ariana than just the fun nights out.
The rival
Someone in her classes who takes their studies very seriously, more so than Ariana, and constantly clashes with her dreamy and chaotic approach to things. They can compete over grades, presentations, internships, approval from professors etc. This could even become enemies to friends or rivals to lovers.
Ariana meets someone who introduces her to a new side of Redwood Hollow she has never experienced before. For example this could be underground parties, local legends, hidden places around town, a new hobby, a new friend group or just a different way of living. Ari is immediately fascinated because it feels like proof that there is more to life than the careful and controlled world she grew up in. This plot could be very fun and freeing at first, but could also becoming complicated if she starts to romantacise the things she is introduced to rather than seeing them for what they are.
Under the surface
A plot where Ariana seems bubbly and carefree, but somoene catches her during a vulnerable moment. Maybe this is after an argument with her father or after sneaking out or after realising she doesn't always know what she is doing with her life and is still trying to find herself. This person gets to see the part of Ari that feels trapped, overwhelmed and afraid that she will never become her own person or be taken seriously about what she wants for herself, rather than what her father wants. This could become a plot with a close friendship, a confidant or a slow - burn emotional bond, where Ariana learns that being independent does not mean that she has to handle everything alone.
Poor unfortunate decisions
Ariana makes a reckless choice that pulls another character into the consequences alongside with her. Maybe she lies about where she is going, sneaks into an event or borrows something she should not or ends up stranded somewhere late at night. The other muse either tries to help her, cover for or gets into the mess with her and is furios about it. This could be comedic, dramatic and involve angst depending on the vibe we'd go for.
The library after dark
Since Ariana studies World History and spends a lot of time in the library when she isn't out at parties or off on an adventure, this plot could start with a late-night study session at the library. Maybe she and another muse are working on the same project, fighting over wanting to borrow the same book and accidentally get locked in together. This can be a setup for classmates, rivals, study buddies, romantic interests or where they maybe even discover something strange and unexpected about Redwood Hollow.
Kiss the girl
In this plot Ariana has a crush on someone and is painfully obvious (while trying not to be) about it to everyone. She is dreamy, impulsive and romantic, but may not know right away how to handle real feelings once they are returned. This could be mutual pining, a first love situation or just a messy crush where Ariana has built something up in her own head and then have to learn who they actually are.
Treasure collector
Ariana has a habit of collecting random objects, stories, souvenirs, photos, old books and other things she finds fascinating that she likes to keep from her adventures, in order to remember them, be able to reflect on them and also know what life can be like. Another character might find this endearing, weird or concerning. Maybe Ariana finds something belonging to this character and has to return it or the character helps Ariana track down the history behind and object she found.

Enemies: @itspeterpxn (but like, only peter thinks so lol)
Wanted Connections*
Friends / Found Family: Kronk is such a sweet guy, but would love to make deeper / more meaningful friendships. Seeing as how he was born a middle child, he always felt sort of distant in his relationship with his family.
Coworkers: Since stepping up as the manager for Evangeline's, Kronk has been looking to get more acquainted with the staff. He'd love to build a "family" like atmosphere with everyone, and not in the toxic workplace sort of way.
Wanted Plots / Plot Ideas*
Cook off: Maybe your character thinks they are a better chef and wants to challenge Kronk to a friendly competition. (Or unfriendly, who knows!) We can plan out a three course meal for them to cook and have judges decide who is the best.

Enemies: It's pretty difficult for Bailey to dislike someone, but I would love to possibly have a chance to try! He's an overall agreeable guy but that doesn't mean there isn't someone he could dislike
Friends with similar hobbies: Bailey loves talking about his interests and engaging in them with others. If your character maybe has similar interests, they might get along great!
Past relationships: I'm always down for some good drama / relationship history! Bailey can be a bit of a flirt when he wants to, and just has a certain rizz that seems to work a little better than he intends to sometimes
Wanted Plots / Plot Ideas*
A strange tattoo: Maybe your character comes in with a rather peculiar request; either to get a new tattoo or cover up an old one that you may or may not have gotten on a drunk dare or something.
Fantasy is the new Reality: Bailey would love to be able to teach more people how to play D&D. If your character is interested at all, he would be more than willing to show them the ropes

Anna was more joyful as a kid but the older she got, with less family around in her life, she's just not joyful in the same way. She is still optimistic and tries to look on the brighter side of things.
When she was younger, Anna started going to therapy for her trauma and grief. She was shortly diagnosed with anxiety and she has panic attacks when stressed out.
After a few years in therapy, Anna's therapist gave her a recommendation for a psychiatrist to get tested for autism. Anna was then diagnosed as autistic at twenty-two years old. In four years, she hasn't told anyone about the diagnosis and is still learning more about herself.
Some of Anna's autistic traits includes: misunderstanding social "rules"/interrupting, being clumsy/struggle with motor skills, avoiding eye contact but when it appears she is making eye contact she is actually looking at the other person's nose, being extremely blunt but not realizing it, and having the same routine every day but getting anxious with change.
Anna has worked at her family's business -- the Arendelle Amphitheatre -- for eight years as an associate employee. She could move on and work on going to college late in life or beginning an actual career but she doesn't want the change that comes with that. This is also the closest way Anna can get to her sister.
WANTED CONNECTIONS
Coworkers - Anna sees her coworkers five days a week. It's the closest she can get to a group of friends even if there are some coworkers she won't get along with.
Crushes/Flings - When Anna catches a crush on someone, she falls for them hard. However, she tends to miss cues when it is just a fling and always thinks it's a bigger connection than it truly is.
Family/Friends of Family - Anna craves attention from her sister. She wants to be included in all activities and connections associated with her family.
Small Friend Group - Eventually, Anna does want to make friends with a small group of people outside of work. Maybe two or three people around her age that she can make plans with and travel with.
WANTED PLOTS/PLOT IDEAS
Accident at the Amphitheatre - A machine malfunctioned or somebody made a mess. One thing for sure: Anna can't fix the problem all by herself.
Date Night - Maybe they met at on a dating app or in a public setting like a library or cafe. Whatever happens, Anna feels a spark.
New Apartment - Anna's lease is up and it's not being renewed. With rent going up, she has to find a roommate or two and she's not going to enjoy all the changes being made to her life.
TAKEN CONNECTIONS
Elsabeth - Anna's older sister.
Hans - Anna's ex-boyfriend.
Kristoff - Anna's coworker. She considers him a friend.

One character you want to see a bio for in relation to this specific character: N/A
Enemies: Abby is a little too good at making friends; it would be interesting to have someone in her adult life that she could have "beef" with. She grew up in a very small town where everyone knew everything about one another. Except back home, she was ridiculed and bullied, and still gets worried about this. Maybe our characters dislike one another (not necessarily bullying) and it reminds her of those times.
College friends: Maybe they can bond over school! She loves making friends and helping others
Wanted Plots / Plot Ideas*
An Interview to Remember: Abby often interviews a lot of people for her psychology classes; maybe your character is really desperate for some psychological advice, or maybe they're just bored. Either way, it's one hell of an experience.
Wrong Number?: Your character is totally convinced they know who they're texting/calling, but instead of Abby saying "wrong number" she completely plays along, fully committing to the bit

One character from the open tag you would like to see taken: Any of the muses
Brash, brazen and fearless, Shock is the self-appointed leader of the local troublemaking team named the Unholy Trinity, comprised of her and her two brothers. She's turned peace-disturbing into an art, having years of experience being sneaky and crafty about never getting caught.
Raised in foster homes with only her brothers as a source of consistency, not even now, after more than a decade of living with Oz Borror, her adoptive father, has Shock allowed herself to rely on anyone but herself.
Shock balances her blunt, defiant personality with a gift for being extremely evasive. She can be the liveliest of friends, but you'll never catch her being vulnerable or honest about her feelings, no matter how much she likes you.
Having lived all her life in Redwood Hollow and knowing the town like the back of her hand does give Shock a sense of comfort regarding her place in the community, and it's been a while since she has had any real ambitions and fantasies about leaving or changing her situation at all. However, realizing she most likely can't play the rowdy teenager forever, she's faced with finally assessing what she actually wants for herself.
WANTED CONNECTIONS
Bandmates: Currently, what Shock is looking for the most is a drummer for her rock band, since the last one left town rather recently; but really, anyone who plays an instrument or can carry a tune has a chance of joining her band if they so wish. Be prepared for her to be a bit dictatorial in her approach to band managing, though: a perfect recipe for clashing egos and butting heads.
Enemies: It has to be said, Shock loves a good fight. Whether verbal or physical, a one-time thing or an actual rivalry, kinda petty or deeply serious, she definitely has the attitude to pursue and start conflict over anything, and maybe your muse was on the receiving end of it --and is unwilling to tolerate her antics.
Partners In Crime: The closest thing she has to friends are those who are either fiery enough to be a match for her, or are willing to participate in her thrill-seeking schemes. While Shock wouldn’t stick out her neck for anyone, she would be willing to share some of her not-insignificant knowledge of proper vandalism and troublemaking for the sake of a fun outing.
PLOT IDEAS
Hellraisers: Among Shock’s many pasttimes, one of the most entertaining ones for her is goading some poor schmuck into following along in one of her twisted plans. Usually simply to have someone to take the blame in the (unlikely) case of capture; but also, just to see what happens and watch some well-intentioned, thrill-seeking newbie trip and fall on their face.
Child's Playmate: Shock has never been one to have lots of friends, but she certainly has had a couple allies and kindred spirits when she was younger, especially those with a taste for scandalizing and offending. However, maybe this childhood buddy (could be from a group home, could be from school) has changed tremendously since then, to the point of becoming someone else entirely: and still there might be some affection lingering, or at the very least some curiosity from either party, to know just how much things have actually changed.
Please, I'm A Star: Does your muse have an interest in film, either behind or in front of the camera? Shock has a little side hobby filming horror short movies, and what stops her from developing a good solid filmography is the lack of cast and crew available --so she would be extremely thankful for whoever is brave enough to subject themselves to her directing.
TAKEN CONNECTIONS
Friend with benefits: @baileylxghtfoot
Friends without benefits: @jxmhawkins, @namaari-sinaga
Boss/father figure: @ozborror-highroller
WANTED CHARACTERS
Lock and Barrel! Let’s get the Unholy Trinity together, and have them bickering and competing against each other for the best sibling dynamic in town.
Phillipa Montague is a spirited young woman known throughout the bustling town of Redwood for her unparalleled talent as a jewellery maker. With an eye for detail and a flair for the dramatic, Phillipa creates exquisite pieces that captivate everyone who sees them. Her shop, nestled between a lively bakery and a quaint bookshop, is a treasure trove of sparkling gems and intricate designs, each creation more vibrant and flamboyant than the last. Customers often find Phillipa in the midst of her work, humming a tune, adorned in colorful scarves and an assortment of her own glittering creations.
One fateful spring day, while gathering flowers for a new design, Phillipa wandered farther than usual, into the sun-dappled edges of the nearby forest. It was there that she first met Aurora. She appeared like a vision among the blooming wildflowers, her golden hair catching the sunlight in a way that made her seem almost otherworldly. She smiled at Phillipa, and for a moment, Phillipa’s usually active mind fell silent, her thoughts muddled in a way she couldn’t quite understand. They spoke for a while, sharing stories and laughter, and then, as quickly as she had appeared, Aurora was gone, leaving Phillipa standing there with a bouquet of half-forgotten flowers in her hand.
In the days that followed, Phillipa couldn’t shake the memory of her—her laughter, her smile, the way her eyes seemed to light up when she spoke. She found herself constantly distracted, her mind wandering to that moment in the forest. Yet, despite the growing warmth in her chest whenever she thought of Aurora, Phillipa couldn’t quite grasp what it all meant.
“Why do I keep thinking about that girl? Was it something she said? Maybe it was her dress—yes, that must be it!” she would mutter to herself as she tinkered with a new necklace, the image of Aurora refusing to leave her mind. Even when surrounded by the glittering beauty of her shop, her thoughts would drift back to her, the puzzle of why she so desperately wanted to see her again gnawing at her.
Phillipa, with her boundless energy and flair for the extravagant, was not one to dwell on anything for too long, especially something as confusing as her own feelings. She threw herself into her work, creating more intricate and dazzling jewellery than ever before, each piece somehow inspired by the memory of Aurora. Yet, no matter how many necklaces she strung or rings she crafted, the confusion lingered. She’d never felt this way about anyone before, and it frustrated her to no end that she couldn’t pinpoint exactly why she felt so drawn to her.
Her friends in Redwood, ever the keen observers, quickly caught on to Phillipa’s distracted state. “It sounds like you’re in love,” they teased, but Phillipa would wave them off with a laugh, “Love? Me? I’m too busy for such nonsense! Besides, I’m probably just inspired by her aesthetic—she did have excellent taste, you know.”
But deep down, as much as her one-track mind tried to rationalize it, Phillipa couldn’t shake the feeling that there was something more to it—something beyond the glitter and glamour she surrounded herself with every day. As spring turned to summer, the thought of Aurora continued to haunt her, a mystery she couldn’t solve, no matter how hard she tried.
Phillipa Montague might be oblivious, flamboyant, and more than an idiot when it comes to matters of the heart. Still, her work has never been more beautiful, each piece a silent testament to the girl who stole her thoughts and, unknowingly, her heart. Whether she’ll ever realize that she’s in love is another story, but for now, her life in Redwood carries on, filled with color, sparkle, and just a hint of longing.
