Our next preview for our upcoming Kickstarter is our first brand new design! This haori features hand illustrated Lotus flowers and Koi fish. The back of the jacket has two large Koi swimming in a circle together. The carp scale pattern over the red-orange background ties the whole look together. We have modeled photos of this new design coming soon so stay tuned!

I also banged out (another) linen haori yesterday; this time to colourmatch Nullref! I've made a couple using this pattern over the years to wear during the summer as sun protection, but this time I extended the length of the body and sleeves a little to better fit a partial fursuit and reduce the visible amount of poodling. I think it really ties her together while being lightweight enough to stay cool in the summer. I also didn't feel like doing french seams again so I just used leftover bias tape to bind the seams closed, and I quite like it!
I'm thinking of carving a lino stamp to add a little design to the pockets, but I'm not quite sure what I want to do with it yet.
