Watching the UCI World Championships provides plenty of inspiration to ride your bike, and especially to race at the velodrome. Handsling TR3evo riders were out in force in Glasgow. A special mention to two riders competing in their debut worlds - Team GB para-cyclist Millie Cass and Adam Krenek of Czechia. A lot of people want a custom #Handsling frame but are put off by the cost of going hydraulic disc when they have a perfectly good cable brake groupset at home. We don't want to leave those people out and so have been looking for a solution. Juin Tech @juintech have these GT-F cable operated, hydraulic callipers that use 4 pistons per calliper (from @edgesportsuk back home in the north-east). So I have an A1R0evo frame, an old, well used Dura-ace 9000 groupset, and some time on my hands now that the rush is over on shipping bikes, wheels and BBs out. So let's see what happens. This will also be only the second A1R0evo built with mechanical cable operated gears (the first was just recently done by Ebba of @velocitycycling fame). Hopefully, we will have a solution for riders who want a frame update without the cost of a new grouspet.
