Good morning 🌻 . I'm off to the depths of Devon for a couple of days today for a wedding... it's a beach wedding... in the U.K... please keep your fingers crossed the weather holds 🤞🙏 . ...I might just pack my brolly just in case!! 😂 . . Now to stress out about what I'm wearing... it's a casual wedding... which whilst I love casual... how casual is wedding casual?!?! Especially beach wedding casual?? . Currently I have a cotton maxi skirt with a simple top... but my husband broke the news to me last night that I remind him of my Grandma when I wear it!!!! I'm not going to lie... Grandma was not the look I was going for! . 😭 . Pottery coffee Mug - hand painted - majolica tea mug - majolica glaze over terracotta - buzzing bees in the garden for just $34.00 Ceramic, majolica hot beverage mug, hand painted, majolica, clay, terracotta or red earthenware, to serve your favorite teas, coffee or hot cocoa. A sweet mug with bees flying in the garden, hand painted majolica. A standard sized mug and holds 8 oz. so it can become your favorite on special occasions or as a happy start to every day. The handle is made for comfort. One of a kind. Great gift for mom or granny. Dated and signed at each stage as it was made, by myself. size 3" high and 2.5" across and holds 8 oz. Each piece of pottery is made in my front porch studio. Though small I make it work, but I make in stages. I fill a bisque kiln with green ware, raw dried clay. Once the greenware has gone through a bisque fire and removed from kiln the studio is cleaned up as I prepare to hand dip each piece. I can only dip as many as I have room for, so I may dip a part of the bisque ware at the time and as pieces are finished with painting and put in kiln in wait for the glaze fire, I will then glaze more. When the kiln is full I glaze fire this takes approximately 10 hours plus time to cool, because I like to warm up everything for about 6 hours before raising the temps. I use materials that are food safe, you may want to hand wash as I cannot guarantee their outcome in a dish washer. You may notice some pin holing , this is from where the glaze is thickened, this is a natural occurrence especially in sharp inward corners and on some textured parts of the work.
