Handler AU timeline is officially complete. I’m finally free! I can finally answer questions and fully know the answers!

Thinking a lot about the Handler!Au and how both Sam and Nat play into their healing. I feel like a game night between the 4 of them would be infinitely hilarious. Something like charades or pictionary? Where Steve doesn't have to talk a whole lot but still gets to have fun. Maybe they have their own little book club... They drink tea and read. Sometimes Sam and Nat read to them. Other times they have a 'Tea Dumping Session' where Sam & Nat walk them through current events.
I liked the idea of Steve being comfortable enough to fall asleep around Sam and Nat for the first time, and falls asleep on Sam mid Pictionary.

What does Steve do when Bucky isn't around in the handler AU? I feel like he probably hangs out with Sam or lays in bed with his collection of stuffed animals (I think he probably has several stuffed seals), is that accurate?
Very accurate. If buckys not around Steve can be found with Sam, either just relaxing or Sam will try to bring him up to speed on things. Occasionally bringing him new foods to try.
Sometimes Steve will watch the other avengers, he accidentally freaks them out a bit since he doesn’t do much but stand there and watch.
But his usual go to is hiding away in his designated room, though he doesn’t use his bed. It’s a bad habit but he’s so used to being in a dark tight space. He uses his closet as a safe space, putting all the bedding in there and his plush animals.
