wound off, but unwashed and unfinished...very approx 85g/335m but we'll see after a bath'n'thwack
the years have taught me
a) almost any clown barf roving/single is infinitely improved by plying, thanks universal rules of color theory!
b) knitting anything but lace is entirely forgiving of a surprisingly large variation in lumpiness and grist
c) even the brightest chaos can be tamed, if desired. this'd probably need to be striped with a grey for a bitchin sweater yoke to yield a product I'd actually wear
d) a friend group has incredibly diverse tastes: someone will want The Thing it becomes, no matter what
all of which to say: I don't actually track or care about anything else in my dyeing and spinning other than am I making a yarn someone will like and I won't hate working with?
I can reverse engineer to discuss twist and wpi and plying technique and whorl ratio and draw...because I do understand all those things...but I don't care at all. spinning is all meditative vibes over here, and a "default" yarn is a delight.

13/5.2021 - back in Randbøldal. We think something happened to the setup of the pattern on this loom, but even after crawling around down underneath we couldn’t figure it out, so we decided to just run with it, as it’s nearly at the end anyway.
