このアルバムも、極めて独創的だしとても面白い音像だと思います。Hanakiv（ハナキフ）は、エストニア出身で現在はロンドンで活動するピアニスト／サウンドアーティスト／作曲家です。本作は彼女のデビュー・アルバム。クラシカルでエモーショナルな旋律を、ピアノやプリペアド・ピアノ、アナログ・シンセをベースにした電子音、そしてサックスやドラムなどを交えて創り上げたサウンドは、実にダイナミックかつ幻想的です。時には破壊的パワーすら感じさせ、そして時にはメランコリックで繊細な音の場をもたらします。記憶の中から湧き出てくるような音の彫像を、先鋭的な方法で提示した素晴らしい作品です。都会的な洗練された音のようでいて、やはりどこかエストニアらしい凛とした、ナチュラルなあるいは妖精のようなスーパー・ナチュラルなvibeを感じるのは、僕の考えすぎか。
