Jamael Westman’s closing performance speech 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Ladies and gentlemen, it’s been more than a pleasure.
The story of tonight’s a story we’ll treasure, forever.
Looking’ at where we are, and lookin' at where we started, it could only have been achieved by stickin' together and goin' hell for leather, whatever the weather.
Despite the storms outside and inside, we’re going one better, louder and brighter (inaudible) beams of genius, leaves the stage on fire,
I do more than admire, cos what I’m seeing everyday from these people here, and backstage, who are perfect in every way, is that whilst they’re comin’ here to work, they’re comin’ in here to play, with an idea.
Me and my peers, we travel lightly and so audiences can see quite clear, right here, among cheers, despite fears and a few tears...choice and possibility
and everyone in this room, as it so happens, has a voice,
so under the eyes of history,
let's cut through the noise,
“Who lives, who dies, who tells your story?”
Speak truth to power, SPEAK TRUTH!!
Let love rain down upon you.
Raise your voice for the many, and NOT the few!
