I spent a week at the seaside (a 2 hour drive from home) and during the weekend the main beach near the Marina was quite crowded it felt bizarre watching people just carelessly enjoying every moment of it like nothing is really happening worldwide. I guess even if only for a week or so, they wanted to forget about COVID for a bit. For me this was the first time in 4 months that i really got out of my country (and only 2nd time to really leave home town) as i take the social distancing and all the measures quite seriously, but was nice to get away from the urban solitude a bit. And swimming in the sea (the temperature of it was perfect) just felt so good considering how hot it has gotten. My part of the beach was located 10 minutes away and was way less crowded and much more quiet, this is how it looked like (in case you’re wondering, this is Haludovo beach on Island Krk in Croatia, once upon a time a private resort owned by Bob Guccione of Penthouse which was frequented even by major Hollywood stars of its time, now its for everyone and far from its past fanciness and glory :)
