I invited Severus Snape, Pharika, and Hazoret. I used my new pendulum to ask basic stuff (firstly are you here/do you want to play; then “which game action would you like to do” on a basic pendulum board)

The game determines turn order by birth year/Zodiac sign. The Zodiacs (Sohma members) are already set out in a circle, so I pendulum’d, asking which Zodiac they’d like to claim. I thought Severus would be Dog (1958), but the pendulum hovered around Pig a bit more... I guess I did my math wrong on his birthyear. Hazoret chose Dog and Pharika chose Snake. I’m Rat so turn order was me, Pharika, Hazoret, Severus.

Goal of the game is to move Tohru around and befriend each Sohma. First person to get 1 of each Sohma friendship wins.

Each hand is 3 cards (up to 4), so I pendulum’d to get “which card” and it worked surprisingly well??? One person (Hazoret) even got a friendship???

Some cards have optional “tell your friends x” things, which is where the “get to know” part comes in. Every time someone played one of those cards, I’d ask w pendulum “would you like to answer this?”, then I used all 3 of my card decks (Tarot, Way of the Cartouche, and Isis Oracle) to get an answer.

I didn’t fully read out the cards in the moment, just pulled them and wrote it down, I wanted to keep the game moving. After one round I was starting to get a headache so I called it quits. I carefully packed up the game so I could easily reset it though and continue from where we left off. I then read the cards meanings with my books. ;w; It was... strangely.... I don’t want to say accurate, but... for instance, Hazoret’s question was “What’s your best memory you and your friends worked together for” and all the answers were building/team related? Severus got the most complicated and “deep” question, as expected.
