Tuthill GT One (2024): Modern Take On The Porsche 911 GT1
The Tuthill GT One is a mid-engined supercar, inspired by the 911 GT1. The limited production model has a carbon fiber bodywork and a bespoke interior. A 4.0-liter flat-six can produce over 600 hp and can be paired with a manual gearbox.
The new project from British workshop Tuthill is called the GT One, a clear reference to the small-production Porsche 911 GT1 Straßenversion from the 1990s. Moreover, like the supercar that inspired it, this one is likely a hybrid of something and something else, as it has a mid-engine layout. It also features double-wishbone suspension, carbon-ceramic brakes, and an FIA-compliant roll cage.
The engine choice is limited: a torquey 500-horsepower naturally aspirated 4.0-liter or a turbocharged unit producing over 600 horsepower. The transmission is a seven-speed manual or automatic. The GT One's exterior panels are entirely carbon fiber, and all those exciting curves were designed by California-based designer Florian Flatau, who previously collaborated with the Singer studio. Tuthill plans to produce only 22 two-door models, but their price is unknown.
