Repost from @haddyracksnyc • I been a dmx fan from day 1, I remember my uncles use to come from Baltimore playing “Get at me dogs” you couldn’t tell me I wasn’t part of that song based off the feel it gave me. Fast forward almost 15 years later I ran into dmx for the first time in a roof top lounge in the city. It’s was like 5 in the morning When he got there and the first thing he did when he seen me was say “yo what’s up “ real aggressively and me bein a X fan I ain’t know wether he wasn’t feeling me or wether he was just saying Wasup. It was a rope in front of me that was separating us and he came toward me lifted the rope and stood in my face and hugged me and said come upstairs wit us, mind u I never met x a day in my life. We went upstairs to the rooftop and I played My “ Slipping “ remix for him and then word to my mother he started tearing after he heard the song and said that It gave him chills. We even exchanged verses that day and went bar for bar for about 30 minutes straight. That was a highlight in my career I got to really rap with a legend. After that he started letting me open up his shows at different venues. Thats when I realized how real he of a person he is. I wish I could say to this X🤞🏽❤️ #prayersup #dmx #haddyracks (at New York, New York) https://www.instagram.com/p/CNWYMVqFh_h/?igshid=unnme19s9msf
