summary: Milo joins morning feed time
“all done?” you ask your 18 month old daughter softly
Mila gurgles in your hold, giggling as you set the bottle down
“you’re on burp duty” you yawn handing her over to Malo “i’m going to sleep”
“good night mon amor” he calls out
Malo’s attention turns to Mila, happily fed she awaits her dad’s attention, having woke up at 6AM screaming at the top of her lungs in agony and hunger, you quickly warmed a bottle and fed it to her as Malo sat next to you in solidarity. You had now taken advantage of the quiet and gone back to bed, Milo’s wake up time probably an hour from now.
“you full now princess?” Malo asks the smiling baby
Mila giggles, cooing as if understanding her dad who stands up, slinging her over his shoulder and softly bouncing while rubbing her back to help her burp
a small burp escapes Mila as Malo brings her down into his arms, settling into the couch
“ready to go to sleep?” he says as Mila’s eyes look around the living room
“papa” a small voice says
Milo walks up to his dad, his stuffed bunny dragging behind him as a small fist rubs at his eyes
“good morning mon petit” he greets as Milo climbs onto the couch
“good morning sissy” Milo says tucking the bunny next to Mila who grabs at it
“you’re such a good big brother” Malo notes softly moving Milo’s messy curls from his forehead
“Mama told me i protect Mila, Mila has me and papá to be her guards” Milo says simply “i protect sissy?”
“even when she’s older and stinky boys bother her, you stand firm and you make sure your sissy is safe okay” Malo tells Milo who nods
giving Milo a kiss on his forehead the toddler makes himself comfortable, cuddling into his fathers side who hugs him close, Mila on his chest.
You walk down to find your little family sound asleep on the couch, throwing a blanket over the boys you make sure you secure Mila and give each a kiss on the forehead
“goodnight my babies”
