SQUAWKS ABT THIS !! okay so, i hope you don’t mind that i’m posting this publicly ( just in case someone else has some insight ! )
the indie community is lacking some prime characters from the earlier seasons such as our resident golden boy matt donovan and his sister vicki donovan. the opportunities with her are endless if you diverge from canon and honestly take her and make her your own, whereas matt in the earlier seasons was much more tolerable i believe. there’s alaric saltzman, he’d be a great character to flesh out in the earlier seasons for sure seeing as how the show did him wrong and made him absolutely redundant post his original vampire arc in season three. then there’s elijah mikaelson, there’s surprisingly not a lot roaming around i’m beginning to see. he’s great as a villain in season two and as season three progresses he makes such a good ally i cry. another character that would involve some major fleshing out considering lack of material is anna johnson, the little vampire that had so much potential and i remain so bitter about. as well as jeremy gilbert, although his hunter arc in the fourth season i believe was legit af.
