(Disclaimer: contains unpopular opinions, some of which are just jokes or sarcasms. So yeah, don't knock on my door with guns and lathis :) I love and respect all languages, they're all equally beautiful.)

Unpopular opinions of a language enthusiast:

Assamese: Trying hard but just too many outsiders speaking our tongue

Bengali: We live in the past, ignore the present, and build a hazy future

Bodo: Tsk, Eastern Nagari sucks, let’s change our script

Dogri: It’s spoken up north, yeah up there, yes

Gujarati: Majama ;)

Hindi: When you coat a pearl with gold and sell it as a gold nugget

Kannada: We don’t mind them north Indian languages, but we’re Dravidian yk

Kashmiri: As beautiful as the Dal Lake

Konkani: Chilling near the beach, as usual

Maithili (and Bhojpuri and Angika): We lost our independence and it’s probably too late

Malayalam: Got some really cool literature

Marathi: Going with the age but the cities are too metropolitan to be ours

Manipuri: Wait... which one?

Nepali: Got the friendliest speakers (no debates on this plz)

Odia: It’s a classical language, RESPECT US

Punjabi: Okay, this one's doing pretty good. Just don't become an icing for Hindi :))

Sanskrit: Not the mother of all languages…. When you overrate something so much that people start ignoring it

Santali: Needs more literature

Sindhi: Yes, we still exist in India

Tamil: Return of the Jedi

Telegu: Obviously has the coolest film industry

Urdu: Hindi but not Hindi. We love it but won’t accept it.
