Pull pork that is tender and full of flavor, cooked slowly with Guinness stout to make it taste even better. This dish is great for parties or quick dinners during the week.
Ingredients: 2 lbs pork shoulder, trimmed of excess fat. 1 cup Guinness stout. 1/2 cup brown sugar. 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar. 1 onion, sliced. 3 cloves garlic, minced. 1 teaspoon paprika. 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper. Salt and pepper to taste. Buns, for serving.
Instructions: Guinness, brown sugar, apple cider vinegar, onion, garlic, paprika, cayenne pepper, salt, and pepper should all be put in a slow cooker. Make sure the pork shoulder is covered in the mixture before putting it in the slow cooker. For 8 hours on low, or until the pork is soft and can be torn apart with a fork. Take the pork out of the slow cooker when it's done and shred it with two forks. Put the pork shreds back into the slow cooker and mix them with the cooking liquid. Leave it to cook on low for another 30 minutes. Put the pulled pork with Guinness on buns and enjoy!
