It worked for the most part, especially on his chin. He can never get it straight since its hard to see. I think this is more effective when used on someone else, since unless you're comfortable shaving with either hand, using it will probably still be challenging. The best use I found for it actually was getting a straight line across the back of his neck when I was trimming his hair.
