The Heart of Gold's layout being constantly randomized would be so fun! I think Trillian and Marvin would have the most luck finding the correct rooms and halls, and like you said, Arthur would get lost frequently.

not rlly a shitty headcanon but i think ford genuinely liked the earth a lot more than he let on or thought he did and misses it more often than he'd like. i originally thought this bc i misinterpreted the krikkit song scene from quintessential phase but i like to think im still right

I can definitely see that! I feel like Ford would have had a very fun and memorable time on Earth, meeting Arthur included! I understand it may have been a little depressing to be stuck on a planet in the backwaters of space for 15 years when he may have been to much more exciting places in the galaxy, but i think he would start to see it as home! Its good he got some time to relax!

Theres honestly some very nice places on Earth, unfortunate that he landed in England 😅

Idk if i told you this before but i think zaphod is nonbinary and uses any pronouns. never seen a cis person who dresses like that.
