rude wasn't what i was going for at all! I still stand by what was said though, because they are first and foremost not a business (neither is hoi, which is part of the reason I felt the need to comment after seeing us being mentioned!), so like, they are allowed to do whatever they want to their own blog, second they can ban whoever they want without that affecting you in any way, it just means that they will give you different suggestions etc. 

Remember - there is also the helpful people list which you can find HERE that they have that has people in who i'm sure may not have a problem with some people on the list. As you say, some people on the list may by association be on there (which I personally agree with but that is a different issue) - not everyone has banned them. The whole community is not banned from using them. The list isn’t one of those “don’t use these people in your roleplays” lists that go around, which usually do have some awesomely accurate people on, but the list is literally exclusive to that blog alone? So for me the fact they have chosen to add people because they’ve supported shitty things is really up to them?

The helpersofindie list is going to be just as long, if not longer, and we will be taking inspiration off their list because quite frankly it is so well evidenced. It is not based purely on anons saying “they did this” though anons are actually a good way to often keep track. Sometimes you get anons that are wrong or unsubstantiated and that is fine, the people on there are researched by the mods, not the anons, so like, if they are on there, then surely it’s because they see it fit and it doesn’t really matter if it’s substantiated. 

People are allowed to say no to requests even if they haven’t done something shitty, like I personally don’t take requests for Ariana Grande - has she done anything problematic? (not to my knowledge but then again I have never looked into it so idk) I just have had a bad experience. Because this is for fun people can choose what they do, and having one list which is relatively small compared to the sheer amount of fc’s out there just seems like a silly reason to no longer be on a certain blog.

THAT BEING SAID, if you don’t feel comfy on the blog, by all means don’t use it. I say that with absolutely no malice I’m sure C&M feel the same way - that is the whole point of tumblr, follow who you want, avoid who you want, and in the rping community in particular, what one finds problematic another might not, but for the vast majority of d-i’s list, hoi will probably be following suit, so for the lovely person’s rec of our blog, it may not be advised as you will more than likely encounter the same issue.
