Guanyin's finally off to find our favourite monk! I was pleasantly surprised to see her actually meet Bajie and Wujing on the way to Chang'an and give them their religious names; I loved seeing their interactions! So I drew the background according to their locations: Flowing Sand River on the right, then Bajie's mountain and Five Phases Mountain on the left XD
