The new 2020 “WOW” Pro Performer has two personalities. On the drive side we have the 1985 decals in every color the Pro Performer was offered in 1985. On the non-drive side we have the 1986 decals and every color the Pro Performer was offered in 1986. It doesn’t stop with the decals, the pads also split down the middle for a custom color on each side. That’s just the paint! The 29” frame has been refined for extra tire clearance to fit our all new 2.5” Smoothie Tires. There’s even enough room for those MONSTER 2.8 tires if you want to go that big. The brakes have been moved under the seat stay to open up the frame stander for trick use. The bike is also fitted with our new CHEAT CODE line of parts. From larger tensioners that better support our light weight aluminum pegs, to our extra grippy/reflective saddles, and wider handlebars. My favorite vintage freestyle bikes are the evil sinister versions of the originals. This is when you swap out black for the traditional white and silver hits. That being said, here’s my version of the @ourlegendsauthentic @unionlosangeles #gtproperformer I swapped out to black silver wheels, wrapped in classic black/skin wall LP-5 tires, driven black Power Series Cranks and black/silver Power Disk chainwheel that are tied together by a now discontinued KMC black/white chain. Next up I bolted 8.125” Performer bars to a black Mallet stem for comfortable cruising and I added a white quick release seat clamp so I can adjust the post quickly between shred and cruise modes. Last detail is a lever swap to a black/silver version of the stock Promax for a little more contrast while stopping.
