The hardest part about this stupid adult tonsillectomy is that it's 3 weeks later, and I still can't swallow to save my life. I hurt still, and I have restless sleep which makes me cranky. I live in a household where work is valued more than health and if I'm up and talking I should be working... But I've let my work know I can start this week. No response back from them. So it isn't my fault I'm not working, and I hate that I'd work through the pain and discomfort of talking for long periods to make them happy. Gods does it suck. I'm tired of the pain medication, I'm tired of semi-solid foods hurting, I'm tired of being exhausted because I can't eat much, I'm tired of being snappy because I'm ctanky I'm tired of not being able to cry about it because gods damned it all it hurts to even tear up! The good part is, is the saspirilla in glass bottled root beer (my fave!) is very soothing, and I can use straws now and do warmer than luke warm if I'm careful. Also... If my phone would stop changing "ed" it "es" at the end of words like "bottled" thatd be nice y'hear...
