Republicans & Democrats Unanimously Pass Epstein Files Transparency Act!!
And no Republikkkan raised an objection to it!!
In fact, John Thune (who's supposed to raise such objections) wasn't even there!
This caused Mike Johnson to lie - a bit clumsily - to explain Thune's absence.
Rump, who was supposedly at a state dinner, didn't know anything about it!!
Johnson once again lied, saying Schumer had somehow snuck a Bill thru Congress - while Thune wasn't there...
The Prez, being stupid at most things, might actually believe this!
But, it's impossible for a Bill to get an thru Congress - unanimously!! - with out both sides accepting it...
Johnson seems to have lies to other Reps, telling them that they could amend the Bill - after it passed!
Sorry.
But, no.
What a pathetic Speaker...
Yet, it's understandable!
Some Reps are distancing themselves from Rump but, don't want any trouble from the Prez...

One, Rump could still veto the Bill.
Two, everything the GOP does this year is about the Mid-Terms & the Special Elections.
Losing the elections means jail time & possible execution!

It's summer, and Skye and Caleb are getting up to all sorts of things. Skye's garden is now quite impressive, and Caleb has almost maxed his handiness skill πͺ
Skye has started writing to pen pals and starting the postcard collection. She completed the butterfly collection and displays them proudly in their backyard!
Caleb is building up his fitness skill like crazy, as well as his cooking skill! He's the main chef for the couple, though they do try to switch every other day or so. He's been working on upgrading Skye's many, many sprinklers in Skye's garden, only to realize they're glitched and all that work was for nothing! Oh, well. At least it got his skill up.
Another date night for Skye and Caleb! They're out there doin their thang at the bar π You know, having one drink and dancing like teenagers attending a homcoming dance for the first time (not pretty, but admire the effort). You go, guys! πͺ

Skye and Caleb are a couple of snug bugs π Skye has been working so hard on her garden and her butterfly raising that she's properly tired out π΄ Caleb has been grinding away on producing furniture for them to sell. Workin hard to get that green π€ Skye has been writing books, but doesn't want to publish them until she can sell to a publisher so they'll have to wait on that income. Either way the Groves are doing great! π₯°
Skye and Caleb are having a romantic night out on the town! They love spending good, quality time together π₯° Skye has quite the collection of butterflies now, and can raise uncommon caterpillars! Far out! π€ Caleb is the primary breadwinner at the moment by selling furniture he made on the woodworking table! Right on, Caleb! πͺ
