me and another girl are in the same group because we work well together and help each other and literally every group project we've done, all the MEN haven't done ANYTHING

we've gone through 3 guys and none of them have done anything. to be fair, the first two guys quit the class, so i get not wanting to work but this last fucking guy just says nothing all class, except good morning, thank you etc, and now on the last day had trouble logging in and now says he doesn't have any more tokens to work (we are working with online tools in their free version - it's not hard, it's just making websites and these tools are literally ai.... we're just learning ai crap in this part of the class) and HE WONT DO FUCKING ANYTHING.

im at my wits end. through the classes, it was fine because it wasn't hard (literally typing a prompt in 20 mins) so me and the girl did it even though it was obvious he wasn't contributing but now we have to turn in the assignment and the teacher gave us corrections. I DIVIDED THEM EQUALLY INTO 3 and me and the girl have done our parts and he is just dragging on and on....AND WONT DO HIS PART. well,i am not doing his part. if he won't do it than the assignment will be turned in incomplete

btw its an online class and the teacher is IN our chat group so she has access to all the messages and knows damn well he ain't doing shit

ALL WE HAVE TO DO IN THIS ASSIGNMENT IS COPY AND PASTE INSTRUCTIONS INTO A PROMPT AND ASK THE TOOL TO BUILD THE WEBSITE AND ADD WHAT WE WANT.......

AND HE DOESN'T KNOW HOW TO DO IT?? :D A MAN IN HIS THIRTIES LIKE THE REST OF THE CLASS 20-35???? :D

the fucking tokens are more than enough to do everything that was required, i did it in 20 mins, one or two prompts but it has been 2 and a half hours and he says he was only able to do one button instead of the FIVE THE TEACHER ASKED???? ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS LITERALLY COPY AND PASTE INTO A PROMPT BOX???

LIKE WHAT THE FUCK WERE YOU DOING ALL THIS TIME?????????????

and he always uses a fucking soft voice like he's having trouble with everything and he's just a baby or an old man oh poor him!!! with experience in it and computers, yeah, it must be so hard to understand a tool that works like chatgpt. it's like you weren't paying attention for months while he did all the work and refuse to do a fucking thing up until we have to turn in the assignment. give me a fucking break

AND AT THE START OF CLASS WHEN I DIVIDED THE WORK HE HAD THE AUDACITY TO SAY "OH WELL WHATEVER YOU PREFER, I HAVE TROUBLE UNDERSTANDING THESE TOOLS, THEY CONFUSE ME"

WHEN WE HAVE BEEN LEARNING THEM FOR MONTHS?????? LIKE I DON'T UNDERSTAND THEM EITHER THAT'S WHAT WE ARE HERE FOR, TO TRY AND LEARN???

he literally thought he was gonna spend another 4 hour class doing nothing while me and the other girl did all the work

update: he spoke to the teacher alone and told us he can't do anything else today because of the tokens so he'll do the rest tomorrow (while we have another class with a different teacher so i highly doubt he'll do it) so the project is going to be handed in today INCOMPLETE

also, we have to choose ONE of us to record themselves presenting the project and post it for the rest of the class to watch and comment on. i aint fucking doing that shit i stg. i'm gonna suggest for him to do it since he aint done shit so far. and i'm never doing a group project again. i'm gonna choose individual work EVERY TIME from now on even though i work well with this girl because the FUCKING TEACHERS will put random guys without a group into our group so we become a trio where one doesn't do shit

i am not looking for advice by the way i am just venting because i feel safe here on tumblr
