I don't have any love for Benny Severide at all
I maintain that the best advice he ever gave Kelly was in S1 about how, if Kelly had moved to Madrid and left CFD, he would be paralyzed.
Someteims in this instance, he was talking to Mcloud and might be the next chief of 51. I can't help but think that he was just pissed at Boden for some reason. I still don't understand, or was it him trying to be close to Kelly?
LIke do we know why Benny retired from CFD? Was it a medical leave or do they do mandatory retirement on anyone 65 or over, even if they're doing a adminstrative job? Because my understanding is that Boden, Girssom, and Benny were in the academy class/ around the same time/all are around the same age.

And also, I know that’s Kristen’s job, but I’m still under the fact that Grissom knew who Jack Damon was the whole time and that he put Pascal and Damon finally at 51
omg you gusy I read one of he interviews and I don't know who it was
but said that someone put Pascal there at the firehouse because Boden waned Hermann
All i can think is Grissom and sometimes I feel like and it could be do to fanficitons I"ve read that Grissom probably doesn't like Stella
Stella is why Kelly left him hanging with bigwigs (also I feel he manipulated Kelly into that dinner) Then we learn later about how Grissom didn't even want to let Kelly go to Squad, and last time we saw Grissom was needing help from Kelly
And Pascal telling Kelly that he's a important part of leadership at House 51
Also I"m still somewhat convicned that Grissom knew about Damon the whole time and that is who Damon was talking to in S12 and you can't convince me otherwise. How else if Benny sucked as a dad that bad and Kelly said it was Grissom who really got him into firefighting and Grissom was like a Dad to Kelly so maybe to Damon too. And Damon is too much like Grissom and Benny about leapfrogging over other people rather than just saving a life.
This was really just meant to be about who put Pascal at the firhosue and went down a hole
