They speak to the deeper loves in one's daily life, and the need to accept the indescribable parts of those things.”

Last week, Ehiorobo released his stunning 18-track record Joltjacket. Get a taste of the record with the epic final song “Maker”. This track spans just about 4 minutes long and the lushness of the instrumentation will have you feeling swells of emotion. The sonic textures on “Maker” have a grandioseness to them that really blends a mix of emotions into a dreamy sound. The vocals act more like another layer of sound that adds a whimsical lightness to the track, balancing the build of the song.

Ehiorobo has released a new single called “Jay Ventura”.

Ehiorobo shares, "To me, this song feels like journeying inward after a long breath of events, and accepting the challenge of maintaining the pace of daily life. I wanted to show a few scrappy friends who set out to go on an adventure, revealing a super wide range of emotions under the surface. That way, everyone would be seen having their own inward journey, sharing the same outward journey, and also the interpersonal dynamics between them. Skate team/crew videos were a big mood reference for this one. 

I imagine that a lot of people turn to their friends & the lust for adventure to both numb & heal the damage that the psyche can sometimes inflict upon itself while reflecting on hurtful moments in intimate relationships, or loss in any capacity. To me, anyone can be dealing with that while out in broad daylight and engaging in what they hope to be some kind of medication of “doing”. Somehow, I feel like we were able to capture that in a really fun way. When I listen back to the song, it’s definitely a mixture and exploration of romantic memory, loss, new understanding, fantasy, pondering at the bigger questions, wanderlust, and more.”

Los Angeles, CA -- Moon Bounce will be releasing his sophomore album Skip Intro on February 21 via Grind Select. Last week, he shared the third single from the LP titled “Malm,” a super lush electronic track that’ll have you engrossed for hours. There’s hypnotic pull to this track, from the synthy vocals to the consistent bell-like ringing. “Malm” is filled with a ton of texture too and with every measure, there’s layers upon layers of sounds that work together to create a smooth but interesting sound.
