A young man walked into the shop and asked for Mark. He wanted a tattoo for his grandfather. He wanted to combine where his grandfather was born and where he lived. His grandfather was born in Tomahawk, Wi., and moved and lived the rest of his life in Waukegan. The tomahawk is from the Menominee Indigenous people. And the eagle feathers represent the Potawatomi Indigenous People. The bald eagle feathers where the highest regarded feathers of the Potawatomi People. Two very strong Indigenous people created a very strong memorial tattoo. Needless to say my client was through the roof with excitement for his new tattoo.
