OKay I have an idea.
Modern AU Geraskier where after a night of drinking, Lambert and Eskel make Geralt a profile on a dating app because he's been moping about too long.
Geralt is convinced he's never going to meet the "right person", he's got too many things he's picky about but doesn't really want to go into it. They have a bit of fun with the app, then he forgets about it.
A few weeks go past, and Geralt decides he wants to have a look through it, just to see.
He finds Jaskier's profile; very handsome, in his age range, lives pretty near... grey ace. Geralt's never heard of that before, and figures it might be a good ice breaker to ask what it is, instead of "Hi wuu2?" which he's been told by Lambert and Eskel "shows his age and is a shit ice breaker."
After plucking up the courage to talk to him, Jaskier replies fairly quickly, oozing confidence that Geralt wished he had. Jaskier happily goes into details about what grey-ace means to him, and things start clicking into place for Geralt.
Maybe he isn't picky. Maybe there is someone else out there that will understand.
