Green wind. Green pond. Green grass. Green trees. 5 minutes before a summer thunderstorm poured in @ Riga, capital of Latvia. Imants Ziedonis, "Zaļā Pasaka": Kādu nakti pilsētā ienāca mežs. (...) Tad tikpat pēkšņi, kā nācis, tas nākamajā naktī bija aizgājis, atstādams zaļu elpu pilsētas ielās, vārtos un pagalmos. Tā vēl tur ilgi dzīvoja, līdz uzvarēja atkal trokšņi un smakas, bet cilvēki tagad zina, ka vismaz reizi gadā pilsētā ienāk mežs, zaļš, zaļš mežs... tik zaļš kā nekas cits pasaulē, tik tīrs kā nekas cits pasaulē. Kad pār pilsētu reizēm nolija zaļš lietus un peļķēs uz ielām peldēja zaļi putekļi, cilvēki tad zināja, ka tie ir no priežu ziediem, un aizdomājušies ilgi skatījās peļķēs, it kā atcerēdamies: nāk zaļš mežs. Elpa viņam zaļa, uzacis zaļas, kabatas zaļas un pilnas zaļiem sienāžiem. (...) Vai tu atceries, kā pagājušajā gadā mežs ienāca pilsētā? Kad viņš gāja prom, taisni žēl palika, gribējās iet līdzi. Šogad viņš atkal nāks. Tikai nekad nevar zināt, kad. Es vakar biju mežā. Klausījos, skatījos — nekā nemana. Es prasu: "Nenāksi uz pilsētu? Nenāksi uz pilsētu?" Neatbild. Klusē. Liels, zaļš mežs. LIELS, LIELS ZAĻŠ, ZAĻŠ MEŽS.
