Who needs a dream catcher when you can be the one to catch your own dreams? 🌠 This was a comment left to me and I love it. Whether your dreams be big or small the only person who can make it happen is you. You might only be able to make a small step toward a larger than life dream, but that one step will test what can become a reality. I'd rather move an inch toward my goals than stay in one place waiting to one day leap straight to the end goal (that day will most likely never come..) Others may not understand your motives but that makes complete sense when what brings us all happiness can be so very different. You don't need their approval. You don't need to gain more than the accomplishment you feel. Enjoy that, because once you start fixating on a tangible gain then it won't be the same... Damn, I missed Throwback Thurday, so, here's a Throwback Friday 17yo vally with 12 extra kilos, terrible quality lipstick and a super phat push-up bra. This was the first time I ever attempted winged linger with Kat Von D Trooper gel liner. That thing changed my life. I'd never used gel liner before. I was pretty pleased with myself so I went out to buy hair dye shortly after this photo. Some basic-ass girls made smarmy comments about me as I passed by them on an escalator. I can practically guarrantee that those those girls today would be preaching love and acceptance on facebook or some shit. The world has sort of changed for the better, in that regard. Also, that skull pendant always fell off of the chain 😭😭😭 The reason the photo is in the living room bc because my parents didn't trust me to have my computer in my room during senior year. Fascinating portrait of a very stylish lady wearing a hat. The painting is of British authorship and dates to the first half of the 20th century. The style has similarities with the Slade School painters of the period, with particular influence from Stanley Spencer (1891-1959). The sitter is captivating - as are the many colours from the artists palette onto the board - especially the green knit jumper! Needs some resto - or just enjoy propped up on the shelf as it is.
