The green screen vs edit
experimenting with green screen 1) color calibration 2) camera negative before any processing 3) a still frame from video sequence 4) a motion sequence. I got inspired by all the sentai behind the scenes video's ive been watching and want to try digital compositing on a real project with a real camera and editing program (not CapCut). For my first attempt, I'm pretty happy with the end results. You can see in the production still frame that the transition is almost non-existent, and the motion is just as clean. Definitely need to experiment more with more aggressive motion, to see how the motion blur holds up. The client's initial storyboards had a girl in a luxury type of space relaxing. I suggested the green screen and fantasy background, wardrobe, etc. Kind of weird but...................... they liked it ! Can we say "henshin ?"
