Alright, here’s a tagging PSA:
A way to warn people about a fic having a pairing but not flooding the relationship tag with irrelevant fic is to tag the relationship in the Additional Tags section.
In my experience this is the best compromise. If people don’t read all the tags and miss it that’s on them.
Also, the Muting function on AO3 exists if you just don’t want to see someone’s fics in search results. It’s much less dramatic than Blocking. When you Block someone, they won’t be able to comment on your fics (and if they ever try, they will know you blocked them which does hurt people’s feelings especially if they don’t know you and have no idea why).
