Speaking of the Anti Hero music video. Did we talk about the fact that when Taylor was running from the ghosts and opened the door to escape The Showgirl Taylor is one that kept her inside and prevented her from escaping.
I'd like to think of the house as Taylor's brain and the ghosts are her thoughts. The Showgirl traps her even further into her toxic thoughts, the body shaming, the trust issues, the past lovers.
In the scene where they are taking shots, at first normal Taylor takes 2 shots and Showgirl Taylor takes 4 and they're having fun.
Then normal Taylor decides to copy Showgirl Taylor and takes 4 shots, and then she throws up. Normal Taylor, no matter how hard she tries, cannot become Showgirl Taylor.
On the roof, Taylor finally decides she will befriend Showgirl Taylor if she cannot fully become her. Taylor wasn't trying to kill her or eliminate her, she was trying to be her. Yet, she fails in every attempt. Maybe she decides to use her for her own benefit?
(We all know it seems like The Showgirl is the one who was trying to eliminate Normal Taylor altogether)
What's more interesting to me besides the Showgirl, now that people are talking about it, is the giant Taylor. It's the biggest-in-your-face Taylor, yet she's the one that's overlooked the most.
I'm very puzzled about Giant Taylor. She seems so sweet and quiet. It almost feels like she's the smallest out of them all. Her size is big, her ego is small. Showgirl Taylor is small, yet her ego and personality is so big she can swallow you.
Giant Taylor is not shown a lot throughout the video, except during dinner (and at the very end), which is a very intimate moment. She ruins it. I think of her as Taylor in her own personal life. The Showgirl is Taylor under the spotlight.
So Taylor is trapped in her head with two other version of herself and the only one's that having fun is The Showgirl. She has a marvelous time ruining everything.
In my mind, Giant Taylor and Showgirl Taylor are both the same girl, they're not meant to be different. Giant Taylor is every single time Taylor ruins her relationships because she is Taylor Swift. She ruins herself emotionally and mentally because of her fame.
Also, she is the one that's torn between the idea, am I so awful like they say, am I this narcissistic asshole? (Vote for me for everything). She sadly isn't.
Showgirl Taylor is the one on stage, on her pap walks, doing her PR and shit. Giant Taylor is ashamed in a way. Showgirl Taylor tells you to go get lost.
Also Taylor getting shot by someone at dinner is telling me she's been betrayed by a some so close to her. They wanted her OUT. Get rid of her. Reminds me of the 🎃 message. In the message it said the threat or the danger has always been there but that was the only time it was serious and real.
But we notice the arrow didn't quite hit the heart, only the shoulder. The bullet has just grazed.
Giant Taylor being Karma is very interesting to me. Is Taylor trying to get karma on herself? Ruin and sabotage herself by herself and start over.
The girl who played her daughter in law in the music video, dressed like Fearless Taylor is also so crazy because this is Taylor killing Taylor. Pushing herself off the balcony. Fearless Taylor!
But she's not actually dead. She is out of her casket. She's done her trick. A metaphorical death to start over?
Man, I could go on and on and on about this, she just is so crazy with her work and easter eggs and everything. Just thought I'd share!
