hello all i figured i’d make this post to put out some general information on the looking for alaska inspired piece i’ll be posting sometime soon!! part of this stuff is from the google form (which is now closed since i’m starting to work on it) and some of it just stuff i wanted to let yall know of before u read since it won’t all fit in an author’s note!

↳ i’m gonna post it on here as a oneshot if it’s not an overwhelming amount of words and break it up and post it in parts on my wattpad!!

↳ do not read this if you haven’t read the book/seen the show and plan to. while my version is different from john green’s, it still follows it closely.

↳ the characters will be different if that makes sense? this is inspired by looking for alaska and it’ll follow it closely but instead of alaska, miles, takumi, lara, and chip, it’ll be OCs i created with the exception of peter parker i didn’t create him and y/n bc it’s a reader insert, although she is based off an OC but any other character will be OC -> there will be a list of them going out later so yall can get to know them :)

↳ our main group of friends does go to MIT, i’ve given them majors & minors, i’ll mention classes. i got all that information from the MIT website, but i didn’t really see any specifications for which were majors/minors so don’t be rude if you think something’s wrong with it. also note this is fiction and it’s also coming from my imagination so it really isn’t that deep if i say someone’s minoring in math: computer science and you don’t think that’s a real minor (im sorry this isn’t mean to sound rude im just giving an example!!)
