AMD Rolls Out Another Driver Update
AMD has released the Adrenalin Edition 26.7.1 WHQL graphics driver, adding official support for the new Radeon RX 9050 graphics card along with launch-day optimizations for the Gears of War: E-Day Open Beta Early Access and Out of Control Evolution. The update is available for supported Radeon graphics cards on Windows 10 and Windows 11.
The driver also fixes several issues affecting Radeon users, including Blender and Cinema 4D rendering problems, Fortnite visual glitches, crashes related to FSR 4.1 on some Windows 10 systems, and a bug that could incorrectly show FSR Upscaling and Frame Generation as inactive in Battlefield 6. As with most graphics driver releases, AMD notes that a few known issues remain while it continues working on additional fixes.
Comment:
Driver updates rarely grab much attention, but they're often what keep new games running smoothly and quietly fix the little bugs that players run into every day. For anyone with a Radeon card, this looks like one of those practical updates that's worth installing.
