"Beauty is in the eye of the beholder". . . This week in Wines of California class we learned about Bi-lateral cordon training and Quadra-lateral cordon training with spur pruning. Whoa 😲! That's a mix of words that I didn't understand. 😂 . . In a nutshell, it's a way to harvest grapes 🍇and keep them in control. You see, vines grow all over the place, very similar to a weed... that's what he said! Hahaha 🤣 . . So this is a way to keep vines in control while making it easy for wine harvest. 🍷There's more reasoning behind it... like the climate, soils, sun exposure etc etc but you get the idea 💡. . . I am a visual learner so I had to see it for myself.
