I had a wonderful afternoon meeting my friend Melanie for coffee and a treat at Cannelle in Capitol Park.

I'm so excited to see her final production at the Detroit Opera House next weekend before she heads back to New York City- she will be missed here in Detroit!

Afterward, I strolled up Washington and picked up some Greenies for Kiko before heading home and picking up my bike! We are back in action!

After leaving the Renaissance Center yesterday, I enjoyed some writing in Grand Circus Park before another meeting in The District. It truly felt like summer!

I stopped at home before heading back out to Midtown for a vegan cone at Cold Truth, one of my favorite spots in the neighborhood.

El Moore Gardens was bustling with activity (not shown, since I always respect the privacy of other people), so I sat in the shade while finishing my ice cream.

Sunday was cold... very cold. As I walked down Woodward, I decided to stop into The David Whitney Building for a cup of coffee and shelter from the wind chill.
