I often take the same train on my way back home: Berlin, coming from my hometown: Marseille. A Deutsche Bahn train connecting Frankfurt to Berlin. This time, a whore -pardon my French- I meant a ticket inspector, gave me a 73€ fine “because my 6 kg dog didn’t have a ticket”. At the Berlin and Frankfurt stations, ticket agents told me that my dog “could travel for free as it was 6 kg and fit in its crate” that I always carry. The Deutsche Bahn website also states “Travelling with your dog under 10kg is permitted, free of charge, unless your pet does not fit in hand luggage or in a transport container” which mine did. I showed the webpage on my cell to that bitch and explained calmly that I’ve always travel free of charge with my dog, free of charge on the DB railroad network and never had any issue with a ticket inspectors. She didn’t give a fuck, ignored me and told my wife and I to get off at the next station (in the middle of nowhere after Frankfurt) if I refuse to pay the 73€ fine on the spot… We paid since my wife and I were on our 10th of train since our departure in Marseille. I took the bitch name along with the payment receipt/fine and will go to Berlin HBahn to get refunded.
