ok so i just saw the e! tweet.......... what the fuck is wrong with them??? like...... grace works her butt off for you making a show that stretches the bounds and lines between internet and television content, you’re working with a basically whole new medium of content because it’s the medium between mediums and you feel like dragging her??????

Despite the backlash, you have every right to tweet this:
You have the right but clearly none of the dignity.
Yes Grace’s rating’s were HORRIBLE. And even Grace knows that. But DEAR JESUS H. You are partly to blame.
Surely Grace negotiated a contract ensuring the show’s numbers would match those of her videos plus those of E!’s built in audience. HOWEVER, that contract, for sure, didn’t give E! the copout to not promote the program AT ALL!
The show need the average television marketing promotion, with the additional anticipation that its social media ratings would be off the charts (and they were). Why E! is now blaming Grace for their combined failure is beyond me. Grace clearly is partly to blame (really Grace? Little to no tumblr promotion and yes I discussed this at length with Brian G. at a Starbucks in SoHo), but E! has BILLIONS of dollars to spend on traditional marketing and yet none was spent on The Grace Helbig Show.
So FUCK. YOU. E! for placing the blame entirely on Grace when there is blame to be placed all around. Again. Fuck You. And for the unfortunate intern who scheduled this tweet: try graduate school.
Grace, your show was not the problem. The promotion was. Call me, as Brian G. suggested.
