It's not that Daniel didn't appreciate the view. He did -- he could understand the beauty of what they were under now, could see the appeal in wanting to lay on the ground and stare right up at the sky, feel forlorn and consumed completely by the sight of the millions and millions of stars, spread sporadically throughout the enormous range of sky. He could see why people would want to do this, why it'd be a popular pick on their bucket list, or why they'd find it romantic. It was just that, though -- he could sympathize. Couldn't really empathize. Because although he could appreciate the beauty of the sky for what it was now, his view down on the ground was far more beautiful. Finding Adrian wasn't hard -- simply had to look in the right place, Further down, away from too many people, sitting near the edge and looking up at the sky. And at the sight of him, Daniel's lips couldn't help but curve upward into a smile, as per usual. Perhaps the only person still surprised by the reaction induced in Daniel upon seeing Adrian would be Adrian himself -- his best friend still couldn't see just how much he meant to Daniel. Just how much he loved him. And how much everything Daniel was for him. Making his way towards Adrian, he knelt behind him, quietly wrapping his arms around Adrian's stomach and pressing a soft kiss to the side of his jaw. "Hi," he muttered. "Are you enjoyin' the solitude?"
