• The implied Biyomon NPC from the prologue

• Originally a Motimon, they De-Digivolved twice to Pabumon before settling on being a Yokomon

• Their dream is to reach the sky no matter what… no, seriously, they ain’t horsin’ ‘round about this!

• The naïve kid brother of Opa and Erwyn

• Idolises his siblings to a nigh-codependent level, but gets on best with his slightly older cousin, Lel

• Refers to Psychemon as “Plurble Gabumonses”

Nio the Kudamon — “Goody-Good”

• Converted at the same time as his sister, Aur, with the others referring to them as “the twins”

• She and Nio are “two halves of a dividual whole”

• Nicknamed “Lil’ Imp” by the group aunts

• Shares her twin’s keen interest in the occult

• Practically inseparable from her cousin, Xenorai

• Even now, she’s seen as “the baby of the group”

• “Digitally connected” with her brother, Koryo

• Referred to as “Obāsan” by Nio and Aur

• Is in no rush to Digivolve anytime soon

Ugani the Crabmon — “Mr. Bisquet”

• One of two In-Training Digimon converted from data found in Shinjuku’s underground in the past

• Has a pathological obsession with Digibattles

• Can easily be kept in check by his sister, Irobu

Irobu the Armadillomon — “Miss Broll”

• The other In-Training Digimon converted from data found in Shinjuku’s underground in the past

• Procrastinates on everything (except mealtime)

• Can easily be motivated by her brother, Ugani

Tengu the Penmon — “Muchas Glacés”

• Much like Erwyn, she was once along a different Digivolution path, yet sought a change in form

• Has always been extremely intolerant to heat, even before her De-Digivolution from Muchomon

• Is pair-bonded with her frost-loving BF, Cerbi

Cerbi the SnowGoblimon — “Gak Phrost”

• The only member of the group native to Iliad

• Absolutely thrives in the cold, becoming near-frenzied if the temperatute plummets low enough

• Can’t imagine life without his kool-as GF, Tengu

Noo. No hitting on anybody.

I love there's no gender conformity or discomfort with clothes. Which makes sense for Digimon, honestly. (I didn't catch what Pumpmon used, but Gotsumon I know I caught using "ore" which is typically a masculine pronoun for casual use.)

Gabumon, on a warm summer night, under hot city lights, and in a thick fur coat: Ice cream...

I adore the positioning of the kids in the back. Yamato is clearly guarding Takeru from any harm, and Gabumon is side-by-side with his partner but in a position where he could easily jump in front of him or Takeru to protect them if needed.

Yeah, they're just a couple lil guys having fun.

You could at least play along for a little bit 😠

Nothing like the righteous fury of friendship and hope.

This child is forever scarred from Patamon first evolving.

I didn't include a screencap with it, but I also love Patamon evolves before meeting up with the others. For only doing it once before, he's suddenly hit with Takeru's strong emotions and want to see him again, and Angemon doesn't really know what's going on except one of his friends is getting beaten up and Takeru is crying so obviously he's going to stop it.
