i love the language alec and magnus use with each other and with their family; "my baby," "my man," "my alec," "my blueberry." Mine mine mine. Others referring to them as "your magnus," "your shadowhunter," "your warlock." something about them belonging to each other in the way they never thought they'd be able to belong to anyone. about having things be theirs the way they never let themselves more than only tentatively dream. i am glad that if there were two characters who got the happiest of possible happy endings, it was them.

thinking abt how in that ask where cassie said we look best in the eyes of those who love us but in tda nobody loves kit, and so while we do see characters kind of describe him as nice-looking its pretty surface level and usually in the context of him looking like a herondale or christina thinking he looks like he could very easily get away with scamming someone, and mostly they describe him looking uncomfortable or miserable or something (or kieran saying his eye color is basic LMAO)-

and then in gotsm which is the first time we have the pov of a character who loves this boy jem actually describes him as himself and what his smile looks like and how happy he is at the shadow market and how he loves sweet things and how he tries to hide when he's vulnerable and how special and unique his laugh is

idk im just emotional about this again and can't wait for more in twp
