I have a short thought. You see, I know that when Season 2 aired, many people were disappointed. That definitely wasn't me, but I understand why they felt that way.
In the book and Season 1, the plot is important. Good Omens is a satire. Among other things, it explores humanity. People's ability to do both the best and the worst things imaginable, the ways in which religion, the promise of Heaven, and the threat of Hell affect them, and so on. Aziraphale and Crowley becoming more human, acting as spies who slowly grow closer, is not the only (nor necessarily the most important) part of the story.
This clearly changes in Season 2. The season has very little plot and is primarily focused on the development of Aziraphale and Crowley's relationship. The other characters introduced are mostly there to reveal something about Aziraphale and Crowley and their dynamic.
That was a huge shift, but I was not upset by it. To me, the change of focus made sense. It was simply a different story. Zooming in on our ineffable boys. It worked for me because it never contradicted what came before, either in terms of the plot or the general message. (Well, I would probably remove the opening scene with Aziraphale being fascinated by angel Crowley, but even that was something I could forgive.)
Therefore, I would never be angry just because Season 3 was very different from the previous seasons. A story is allowed to change its focus. However, my problem is that Season 3 contradicts what was established in Seasons 1 and 2. And it does so both in terms of the plot (humanity using free will to avert Armageddon; Gabriel and Beelzebub using theirs to try to prevent the Second Coming) and in terms of the general message (that messy and imperfect humans can still be incredibly potent when they put their minds to something; even when it feels like extremely powerful forces are against us, hope is not lost).
I am back, I guess. Missed my ranting? Me tooo... :D

Don't know what a fanworks bingo is or need a little more context before voting? Read on!
What is a fanworks bingo? How does this work? Why this event?
A fanworks bingo is a low-stakes event focused on creating fanworks related to or inspired by (in this case) Good Omens 3!
Participants in the bingo would receive bingo cards filled with various prompts inspired by Good Omens 3. Each week, one of the prompts would be called out on this blog - that's your call to make whatever fanworks you like!
The event would be very low-stakes and VERY light on the rules - ultimately you could think of it more like a prompt list challenge without strict requirements (like word counts or types of art created). It'd be open to ALL sorts of fanworks (fic, visual art, songs, edits, gifsets, meta posts, whatever you can think of). There would be NO STRICT TIMELINE - while prompt calls would happen weekly, participants would be allowed to create for any of the past prompts as well. Participants would also be allowed to combine their bingo prompt fills with any other events they might be participating in (as long as those other events do not have any exclusivity rules in place) AND would be encouraged to create and share short/simple works as well as WIPs. Have a 100 word ficlet? That's fine! An unfinished sketch? Also works!
The works created would NOT have to be directly related to Good Omens 3. While we would encourage such works, we do not want to limit people participating - the prompts itself WOULD already be inspired by Good Omens 3 and WOULD contain spoilers or overt references to characters/events/dialogue that were part of Good Omens 3.
The idea behind this event is just to give people a little nudge and inspiration to create more fanworks related to OR inspired by Good Omens 3 and to celebrate those works together. The event would only have one rule - and that is NO HARSH NEGATIVITY about Good Omens 3. Criticism is fine; vicious negativity is not. We'd NOT be sharing ANY posts that are overly negative about Good Omens 3, even if they're prompt fills for this challenge. We cannot stop people from using our prompts to create content that views Good Omens 3 in a negative light, but what we CAN do is curate this space (and our other social media accounts) so that people who want to see Good Omens 3 content can do so without having to interact with the negativity.
