Summary:

Tired of having to ditch Gina several times in a week because of Gorm, Jessica desperately wants her friend to know the truth. And with Gorm needing saved again, Jessica wants the mission to be over as soon as possible so she can meet with Gina to go shopping. Things don't go to plan when Lavion hits her with a beam from the Dream Disc which causes her to fall into a deep sleep as she's trapped in her ideal fantasy world, leaving the team without the only one capable of destroying the Dream Disc. Jessica must figure out the world she's in isn't real and wake up before it's too late, but it's easier said than done.

Takes place sometime during season 1.

Summary:

When Magmion uses a special staff that causes those hit by it to become blinded by hatred in more ways than one towards the one they love, disaster strikes the team when Lucas is hit and his feelings for Nick are accidentally revealed to everyone, including Magmion. The Lords must grapple with this revelation and destroy the staff, but the only way to do so is if someone hit by the staff is the one to destroy it. If only Lucas's hate-filled vision was aware of more than just Nick...

Ao-ki was still panting, and she made a conscious effort to slow her breathing down before answering the Meka Tower.

"No," Ao-ki admitted, wincing as she placed a hand on her throbbing head. "My head, it feels worse. With this headache, having a nightmare was the last thing I needed since I'm confident it only made things worse." She stiffened as a horrible thought crossed her mind, and she slowly trailed her hand down to rest between her forehead and eyes, and even though she knew by all means that it shouldn't be there anymore, that it was gone after her friends rescued her a few weeks ago, she could still feel the phantom presence of the symbol belonging to her Darkan self lurking just below the surface, and she resisted the sudden urge to claw at the area to get rid of the feeling completely and give her peace of mind.

As Myridell took a closer look at what she now knew to be a 'board game', her eyes were drawn to the assortment of different items inside the box. Some were small shiny trinkets she had to try very hard not to immediately grab, others were sections of thin strips in various colours as well as sections of thin strips that were mostly white in colour while two other stacks of thin strips were located beside them, a large amount of what looked to be miniature human caves known as 'houses', there were also a couple of white cubes with varying numbers of black dots on each side, and a large folded up strip beside the open box that she assumed to be the 'board' in 'board game'.

"Not just any board game!" Glen refuted with a wide grin, wagging a finger at Zane. "It's Monopoly! The board game all about testing friendships through a mixture of luck and strategy, so it's the perfect way to improve our bond as a team!"

Nathan deflated at his dad's words. "I understand," he said with a disappointed sigh. "Just... at some point next year, please get it."

"I promise."

"Thank you," Nathan said dully, not quite believing the promise as he stood up. "I'm going to my room."

Zane felt his heart breaking at the sight of his little brother walking away dejectedly, leaving just him and his dad in the living room.

He quickly ushered Lucas to one of the couches and practically pushed him on it. "There! Just relax while I get something sorted. You are my guest, after all. I insist." With that, he kissed Lucas's cheek. "I'll be right back," he said softly before speeding off.
